What is my diversity concept? Find your own position on gender and diversity issues

Please describe your concept of gender in a few words!

More and more researchers are confronted with this request, not only when applying for a position, but also when applying for third-party funding. Quite a few researchers are unsure about which aspects belong to a "gender concept". In many cases, it is not gender competence that they lack, but rather experience in formulating and systematising it. The workshop aims to support researchers in reflecting on their own competence in dealing with heterogeneity, especially in dealing with gender. On the other hand, the workshop will discuss which areas of everyday research and teaching could be organised differently in the future in order to live more gender competence. Finally, the workshop will focus on how one's own gender competence can be formulated in a written gender concept.

• Instructions for the formulation of an individual subject-related gender concept

If you would like to obtain 5 AE in the Area A (Teaching/learning concepts) for the certificate Hochschullehre Bayern, you will complete a short paper or solve a small task after the workshop in consultation with Dr. Susanne Frölich-Steffen.
