1000 Miles Run

Am 28. Juni 2026 findet ab ab 11:30 der 1000 Miles Run – der Uni-Spendenlauf von Technik ohne Grenzen e. V.  - und zur Feier des 10. Jubiläums wird das Ziel auf 2000 Meilen verdoppelt!

Technik ohne Grenzen e. V. ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein und eine Hochschulgruppe der FAU. Sie führen technische Projekte durch, um die Lebenssituation der Menschen in Entwicklungsländern zu verbessern. Mehr Infos zum Verein und dessen Projekte gibt es auf der Website http://www.teog.ngo

Warum beim 1000 Miles Run teilnehmen? Die Sponsoren belohnen jeden hart erkämpften Meter. Dabei darf jeder so lange laufen, wie er oder sie will und kann. Es ist entscheidenend, das gemeinsame Ziel von 2000 gelaufenen Meilen zu erreichen, da die Sponsoren sonst nur anteilig spenden. Alle Teilnehmenden erhalten kostenlose Verpflegung an der Strecke (Wasser, Isodrinks und Obst). Eine Teilnahme als Team ist möglich. Für das leibliche Wohl und ein Spaßprogramm nach dem Lauf ist gesorgt.

On June 28th 2026, from 11:30 a.m. the 1000 Miles Run - the fundraising run of Technology without Borders e. V. will take place. And to celebrate its 10th anniversary, they are doubling the goal to 2,000 miles!

Technology without Borders e.V. is a nonprofit organization and a student group at FAU. They carry out technical projects to improve the living conditions of people in developing countries. More information is available on the website http://www.teog.ngo.

Why participate in the 1000 Miles Run? Sponsors reward every hard-earned meter. Everyone is free to run as long as they want and are able to. The only important goal is to collectively run 2,000 miles, otherwise sponsors will only donate a pro-rated amount. All runners receive free refreshments along the route (water, sports drinks, and fruit). Team participation is possible. Food and a fun program after the run are provided.
